It had been difficult to me every time I had to take a full bus or walk for twenty minutes to the Metro or maybe get stucked in a bad traffic. Every day when I had to go to work I dreamed with a motorcycle. Therefore I decided to buy it as soon as it was posible in spite of my mother had been forbidding me to do it all the time.
Afterwards I wanted to practice immediately, so I went with my boyfriend to an empty place where I could fall down without damaging anybody.
It was a cold night, and while I was trying to drive, my boyfriend was looking at me just in case I could fall down. After some minutes everything was going all right, so I decided to ask him if he wanted to help me learn to ride with a passenger, so he accepted. I was driving up by a dark street when suddenly we were in a non-exit road so I had to turn right quickly, thus my heart that had been relaxed, started to beat stronger because it was the first time I had to give a turn in a hill. I got nervous, so when I started shouting him and telling that I would not be able to do it, instead of stop the motorcycle I speeded it up and we fell down.
I was feeling worried maybe he could hurt his body because of me. My knees and feet was paining, but in that moment, despite he and the motorcycle was over me I just was thinking about my motorcycle because it was new but, luckily nothing happened it. After few seconds, we stood up, but I realized it was being difficult to me to walk.
My knee was hurting me a lot but I couldn’t tell anything to my mother because If she knew that I fell down, maybe she was going to prevent me from trying again, that is why I had to hide my pain.
I was scared about try again, in fact I’d been praying a lot for do not fall again. Afterwards one day I went with my parents and some friends to another place in order to practice. While I was trying again, they were having a good picnic, seemed to me as a family's Sunday trip.
My friends helped me a lot, and I had forgotten my fear, so I could go out to the highway and I started to drive as a professional.
I’ve had my motorbike for eight months and it has been a great experience, because it has helped me to save money and time.
